The Hour Has Come: A Final Call to the People of the Qur’an

The Hour Has Come: A Final Call to the People of the Qur’an

Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm; In the Name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

To the people of faith who honor the prophets and await the Last Day:

Peace be upon those who follow true guidance and seek the straight path with a sincere heart.

I. On the Preservation of Scripture: An Unbroken Chain of Testimony

The claim that the Injīl (Gospel) and Tawrāt (Torah) have been corrupted is one that deserves careful examination, for it touches the very character of God as Preserver (Al-Ḥafīẓ).

The Qur'anic Testimony to Scripture's Preservation

Consider what the Qur'an itself says about the previous scriptures:

"And We sent, following in their footsteps, Jesus, the son of Mary, confirming that which came before him in the Torah; and We gave him the Gospel, in which was guidance and light and confirming that which preceded it of the Torah as guidance and instruction for the righteous." (Sūrah al-Mā'idah 5:46)
"And let the People of the Gospel judge by what Allah has revealed therein." (Sūrah al-Mā'idah 5:47)

If the Injīl had been corrupted by the time of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), how could Allah command Christians to judge by it? Would the All-Wise command judgment by a corrupted text?

Further, the Qur'an states:

"And the word of your Lord has been fulfilled in truth and in justice. None can alter His words, and He is the Hearing, the Knowing." (Sūrah al-An'ām 6:115)

If none can alter Allah's words, and if the Torah and Gospel are repeatedly affirmed as His words, how then could they have been corrupted?

Historical Evidence: The Dead Sea Scrolls

Beyond theological reasoning, historical evidence confirms the preservation of scripture. The Dead Sea Scrolls, discovered in 1947, contained biblical manuscripts dating from the 3rd century BCE to the 1st century CE—long before the time of Muhammad. These ancient texts match with remarkable accuracy the Hebrew Bible we have today, demonstrating preservation across millennia.

For the New Testament, we possess over 5,800 Greek manuscripts, with the earliest fragments dating to within decades of the original writings. This textual evidence far exceeds any other ancient document, including the works of Homer, Plato, or Caesar.

The manuscript evidence demonstrates that what we read today in the Bible is substantially identical to what was written by the original authors—the very scriptures that the Qur'an tells Muslims to believe in and respect.

II. The Prophetic Testimony: Mathematical Precision Across Millennia

The divine origin of scripture is further confirmed by its prophetic precision—predictions made centuries in advance that have been fulfilled with extraordinary exactitude.

Daniel's 70 Weeks Prophecy

The prophet Daniel, writing around 538 BCE, predicted:

"Know and understand this: From the time the word goes out to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the Anointed One [Messiah], the ruler, comes, there will be seven 'sevens,' and sixty-two 'sevens'... After the sixty-two 'sevens,' the Anointed One will be put to death and will have nothing." (Daniel 9:25-26)

This prophecy specified:

  • A starting point: The decree to rebuild Jerusalem
  • A precise timeframe: 69 "weeks" (483 prophetic years)
  • An endpoint: The coming of the Messiah followed by his death

History records that the Persian king Artaxerxes issued this decree in 445 BCE. Counting forward 483 prophetic years (173,880 days) brings us precisely to Jesus's triumphal entry into Jerusalem in 32 CE, days before his crucifixion.

Such mathematical precision across five centuries cannot be explained by human foresight or coincidence.

The Rebirth of Israel

The prophet Ezekiel declared in the 6th century BCE:

"I will take the Israelites out of the nations... I will gather them from all around and bring them back into their own land." (Ezekiel 37:21)

After nearly 1,900 years of global dispersion, Israel was reestablished as a nation on May 14, 1948—an event unprecedented in world history. No other people have maintained their distinct identity through two millennia of global dispersion, then returned to reestablish their ancient nation.

This extraordinary fulfillment serves as a "prophetic timepiece," marking the beginning of the final generation before the Messiah's return.

III. The Word Made Flesh: The Supreme Paradox of the Qur'an

The most profound contradiction in Islamic theology concerns the nature of Jesus, whom the Qur'an calls "Kalimatu'llāh" (the Word of God) and "Rūḥun minhu" (a Spirit from/of Him).

The Word Greater Than the Book

Consider this carefully: If the Qur'an is revered because it contains the words of God, how much more should the Word of God himself be revered? The Qur'an is a book containing divine words, but Jesus is the Word himself.

In Arabic grammar, the phrase "Rūḥun minhu" (a Spirit from/of Him) uses the preposition "min" which denotes origin or source. This same construction appears in Sūrah al-Sajdah 32:9 regarding Adam's creation: "wa nafakha fīhi min rūḥihi" (and He breathed into him from His spirit).

If Jesus is both Kalimatu'llāh and Rūḥun minhu, he possesses a nature beyond mere humanity. This perfectly aligns with the Gospel's teaching that "the Word became flesh and dwelt among us" (John 1:14).

The Critical Contradiction

The Qur'an grants Jesus titles and attributes given to no other prophet:

  • Born of a virgin (Sūrah Maryam 19:20-21)
  • The Word of God (Sūrah al-Nisā' 4:171)
  • A Spirit from God (Sūrah al-Nisā' 4:171)
  • Sinless (implied in Sūrah Maryam 19:19)
  • Performed miracles including raising the dead (Sūrah al-Mā'idah 5:110)
  • Raised to heaven alive (Sūrah al-Nisā' 4:158)
  • Will return at the end of time (according to Hadith)

Yet, paradoxically, it denies what these very titles and attributes point to—his divine nature and his redemptive sacrifice.

The Injīl declares with clarity:

"Who is the liar? It is whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a person is the antichrist—denying the Father and the Son." (1 John 2:22)
"Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist." (1 John 4:2-3)

If the Gospel is preserved—as the Qur'an itself attests—then these warnings must be taken with utmost seriousness.

IV. The Necessity of Atonement: What the Prophets Foretold

The denial of Christ's crucifixion not only contradicts historical evidence but removes the very cornerstone of God's redemptive plan—the atonement foretold by all the prophets.

The Prophetic Witness to the Cross

Seven centuries before Jesus, the prophet Isaiah declared:

"But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed... The LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all." (Isaiah 53:5-6)

King David, writing a millennium before the crucifixion, prophesied:

"They pierce my hands and my feet... They divide my garments among them and cast lots for my clothing." (Psalm 22:16, 18)

The prophet Zechariah foresaw:

"They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child." (Zechariah 12:10)

These prophecies found precise fulfillment in the crucifixion of Jesus—an event attested not only by Christian sources but by Jewish historians like Josephus and Roman historians like Tacitus.

The Problem of Sin and the Divine Solution

Islam acknowledges the reality of sin and the need for forgiveness, yet it offers no definitive assurance of salvation. The Qur'an states:

"No bearer of burdens shall bear the burden of another." (Sūrah al-An'ām 6:164)

This principle of justice is true, but it presents an insurmountable problem: How can sinful humans attain paradise when their own deeds are insufficient?

The cross provides the divine solution: God himself, in the person of Jesus Christ, bore our burden. This is not injustice but the highest expression of divine mercy—the innocent voluntarily taking the place of the guilty.

Without the cross, there can be no assurance of salvation, only the hope that one's good deeds might outweigh the bad on the scales of judgment. But in Christ's atonement, we find both perfect justice (sin is punished) and perfect mercy (sinners are forgiven).

V. The Convergence of Signs: The Hour is at Hand

As demonstrated in our previous examination, we live in unprecedented times. The signs foretold by the prophets are converging with mathematical precision:

  1. Israel's rebirth in 1948 began the final generation
  2. Jerusalem's recapture in 1967 fulfilled Jesus's prophecy in Luke 21:24
  3. The four seals of Revelation have been opened in precise sequence
  4. The celestial signs of August 2026 align exactly with biblical descriptions
  5. The mathematical timeframes given by Daniel point to specific dates in our immediate future

These are not matters of interpretation but of verifiable mathematical calculation and historical fulfillment.

The Final Timeline Revealed

Based on these converging prophecies, we can determine with high confidence that:

  • The celestial signs of August 2026 will precede the rapture of believers in September 2026
  • A seven-year covenant will be established, beginning Daniel's 70th week
  • The Abomination of Desolation will occur in March 2030
  • The Messiah will return in glory on Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) in October 2033

These dates are not speculation but the result of integrating multiple prophetic streams with mathematical precision. The Hour approaches with certainty, and time for decision grows short.

VI. The Invitation of Grace: While There is Still Time

The message of the Gospel is not one of condemnation but of invitation. Jesus said:

"I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6)

This exclusive claim is not born of arrogance but of love. There is only one way to be reconciled to God—through the atoning sacrifice of Christ.

Islam encourages righteousness but denies the very means by which righteousness becomes possible. It prescribes prayer, fasting, almsgiving, and pilgrimage, yet these cannot cleanse the human heart or guarantee acceptance by the Holy One.

The Injīl declares:

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)

This is the revolutionary message of divine grace: salvation as a gift, not a wage; relationship, not merely religion; certainty, not endless striving.

VII. The Call to Decision: What Will You Choose?

Dear reader, the evidence has been presented:

  • The preservation of scripture is affirmed by the Qur'an itself and confirmed by historical evidence
  • The prophetic precision of scripture demonstrates its divine origin
  • The Qur'anic descriptions of Jesus as Word and Spirit point to his divine nature
  • The cross was foretold by the prophets and is essential for atonement
  • The convergence of prophetic signs indicates the imminent return of Christ

Now you face a decision of eternal consequence. As Joshua declared to the Israelites:

"Choose this day whom you will serve... But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD." (Joshua 24:15)

Will you continue in a system that offers guidance but no guarantee? That demands righteousness but provides no power to attain it? That honors Jesus as a prophet but denies his redemptive work?

Or will you embrace the full revelation of who Jesus is—the Word made flesh, the divine sacrifice for sin, the risen Lord who is returning soon?

VIII. A Prayer for Revelation

If your heart is stirred but your mind uncertain, pray this prayer with sincerity:

"Allāhumma, Revealer of Truth, if Jesus is truly Your Word and Your Spirit, if he died for my sins and rose again, if he is the Way to You as the Injīl claims, then open my eyes to see this truth. I seek not the approval of men but Your approval alone. Guide me to the straight path that leads to eternal life. Āmīn."

The Messiah promised: "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you" (Matthew 7:7).

IX. The Time is Now

The mathematical precision of biblical prophecy reveals that we stand at the threshold of history's culmination. The signs are clear, the calculations exact, the convergence undeniable.

Soon, very soon, the heavens will be opened, and the One whom both Muslims and Christians await will appear. When he comes, will you be among those who recognized him for who he truly is?

The invitation of grace still stands, but not indefinitely. As the Qur'an itself warns:

"Do they then wait for anything other than that the angels should come to them, or that your Lord should come, or that some of the Signs of your Lord should come!" (Sūrah al-An'ām 6:158)

The signs have come. The calculations are complete. The Hour approaches.

Choose wisely, for eternity awaits your decision.

"I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city." (Revelation 22:13-14)
